Come beat the experts! NM’s #6 Justin Skliar and #10 Tony Schroeder will play back-to-back matches against 12 simultaneous challengers. Event is FREE, with no registration needed–just mark the date and come on by:
Event will run from 11 am – 3 pm, with no required arrival time. Anyone can play if there’s an open board.
All games are unrated and untimed, with no USCF/FIDE rating required.
Kids and beginners are welcome, but should know the basic rules of chess.
Simuls take place in the mall’s central atrium, near the giant floor chessboard.
Organizers will provide equipment. Challengers do not need to understand notation or have any tournament experience.
