Eldorado Chess Tournament

This is a public, 2-day rated chess tournament held at the Vista Grande Library. It’s open to all ages and skill levels, with cash prizes and entry fees of $30 per person. Participants play four games at the rate of 90 minutes per person per game, with a break for lunch. It’s a great way to make friends and get an official rating for beginners. Also, sections are arranged by skill level, so anyone from novices to experts will face an appropriate challenge.
