We celebrate PRIDE month with award winning Hip-Hop Artist G Precious (Ohkay, Owingeh Pueblo) taking the main stage with her legendary, energizing dance-thumping act. Setting the stage for the "G Precious groove" will be crowd favorite, poet, singer-songwriter, hip-hop artist, and human ecologist Lyla June (Navajo and Cheyenne) . We’re also joined by the beautiful two-spirit singer, Joshua Dixon (Navajo). Special guests include interdisciplinary artist, Oriana Lee. As always, at our family-friendly events we’ll have food-trucks, artists booths, face-painting and Wise Fool puppets. https://wisefoolnewmexico.org/ Note: ASL interpreters on site.

Join Meow Wolf and the Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance (HRA) for an inclusive Queer Prom for all ages. We’ve teamed up to invite the young and the young at heart to join us for a night of wholesome nostalgia in the weirdest prom venue around. No prom would be complete without a theme. Ours is galactic Y2K in honor of Shontez ‘Taz’ Denise Morris, beloved former Meow Wolf employee and HRA board member. See you there, and don’t forget to wear your early-aughts prom best.

Tri-M Productions of Santa Fe will present the Tony-Award-winning musical, "Kinky Boots" this coming June 15–25, 2023. The music and lyrics are by Cyndi Lauper and the book is by Harvey Fierstein. Mostly inspired by true events, the musical tells the story of Charlie Price. Having inherited a shoe factory from his father, Charlie forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret performer and drag queen Lola to produce a line of high-heeled boots and save the business. In the process, Charlie and Lola discover that they are not so different after all. Winner of the Tony for Best Musical in 2013, this is a wonderful show. It has been described as a "warm, likable, brassy, sentimental, big-hearted" production. Tickets are reserved seating, $40 and $30; half-price coupons available for students/youths.

In this solo show, a Latina child asks, during a school lesson on Rosa Parks, “Where did we sit on the bus?” Follow her from childhood to adulthood as she explores her family’s history, her identity as a first-generation American, and what the world will be like for her future children. Originally an autobiographical show by Brian Quijada, and now performed by Indigenous and queer Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist Satya Jnani Chavez. All music is played live and looped by Chavez. Where Did We Sit on the Bus? will perform a limited-engagement June 15 through June 24 on the mainstage (142 East De Vargas Street, Santa Fe, Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm, and Saturdays at 2 pm and 7:30 pm. Opening Night is Thursday, June 15 at 7:30 pm.
