    Queer Tango

    Join us for Queer Tango, a welcoming, affirming space to learn and dance Argentine tango—free of gender roles and open to all bodies, identities, and experience levels. Queer folks and allies are warmly invited to take the floor together.

    Schedule:

    2:00–3:00 PM | Tango Class

    Learn the fundamentals of social tango in a supportive, inclusive environment. No partner or prior experience required.

    3:00–4:00 PM | Practica

    Stay to practice, explore, and dance with others in a relaxed, social setting.

    Community Conversations

    Join us for a special Community Conversations where we welcome a representative from The Mountain Center for QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training. (Question, Persuade, Refer) This is a FREE evidence based training designed by the QPR Institute, created to teach others how to recognize and respond to warning signs of a suicide crisis, to reduce stigma, to offer referral resources, and to offer hope Once you complete the 1.5 hour long training, you will become certified as a QPR Gatekeeper, and receive a certificate that lasts for 1 year.

    Join us for a supportive new offering designed specifically for LGBTQ+ community members seeking a safe, affirming space to share, heal, and connect. Queer Support Group, led by licensed therapist Marie Turco, LCSW, provides an opportunity to explore your experiences in a supportive group setting grounded in compassion, understanding, and collective strength.

    Marie brings 25 years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy, with a career dedicated to creating healing environments where people can grow, be heard, and build meaningful support networks. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community herself, Marie has spent decades offering specialized care—from Philadelphia to Maine and now New Mexico—ensuring that queer and trans clients receive the affirming mental health support they deserve.

    She has also served in hospitals and community agencies on committees focused on improving care for LGBTQ+ individuals, continually advocating for safe and inclusive therapeutic spaces.

    Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, seeking connection, or simply wanting a place where your whole self is honored, Queer Support Group welcomes you with open arms. Come as you are—there’s a seat for you here.
