More Than a Logo…
At the Human Rights Alliance of Santa Fe, our visual identity is more than a logo—it’s a reflection of who we are, who we serve, and where we’re headed.
After more than a few decades with our original Thunderbird symbol and typography, we felt it was time for a thoughtful renewal. That earlier identity carried deep history and meaning, but it also reflected a different era. As our community has grown more visible, diverse, and interconnected, we recognized the need for a look that better represents the present—and the future.
This change comes at a moment of both challenge and resilience. After navigating difficult times together, we wanted something fresh, hopeful, and forward-looking. Our new logo reflects that intention: open, inclusive, and grounded in unity.
Inspired by this year’s Pride theme, Many Colors. One Pride., it celebrates the full spectrum of identities within our community while affirming our shared purpose. This refreshed identity honors our past while signaling renewal, possibility, and our ongoing commitment to equality, visibility, and belonging for all.
As we transition from our old logo to this new one, you will begin to see changes in our materials, both online and offline.
Logo Refresh FAQ
Why did Human Rights Alliance Santa Fe change its logo?
Because visibility matters—and so does momentum. After more than a few decades with our previous identity, we chose to refresh our logo to better reflect the vibrant, evolving LGBTQ+ community we serve and the future we are actively building together.
Why now?
This is a moment to move forward. After navigating real challenges with resilience and courage, we embraced renewal. Our new logo is a symbol of hope, strength, and forward motion—and a reminder that progress doesn’t happen on its own. It happens when people show up.
What inspired the new design?
This year’s Pride theme, Many Colors. One Pride., shaped the vision. The new look celebrates the full spectrum of our community while reinforcing what unites us: shared values, collective action, and the power of standing together.
Does this mean you're leaving the past behind?
Not at all. Our history fuels our future. The decades of advocacy that brought us here continue through every program, every march, every safe space we create—and through the people who support this work
What does this change ask of YOU?
More than admiration—it’s an invitation. Show up. Get involved. Volunteer. March with us. And if you’re able, donate. Your support helps turn pride into action and ensures our work continues today and for generations to come.
What stays the same?
Our mission, our values, and our commitment to equality and justice remain unwavering. The look is new. The purpose is not. Together, we are many colors—and one Pride.
