Happy Independence Day  – Week,

Here at HRA, we are all thankful for the record-breaking participation in PRIDE 2025 – Resilience: Stronger than Ever.

Santa Fe turned up and turned out for this very important PRIDE celebration during these tumultuous times here in the US.

We are so thankful for all of our sponsors.

This year, our participation in sponsorships reached its highest level ever. We would never have been able to produce PRIDE without their great support. Please take a moment to see all the businesses that support our community here in Santa Fe and across the State – and consider patronizing them as well.

We encountered a major setback yesterday that has seriously impacted our new LGBTQ+ Center. Due to some heavy rains yesterday afternoon and a lack of appropriate drainage on the adjoining property (which is owned by the city of Santa Fe) to Parkway Studios, the HRA LGBTQ+ Center was flooded. We have enlisted the assistance of New Mexico Restoration to dry out the floors and the lower parts of the walls. As tenants in this unit, we will need to work with our landlords as well as the HOA to come to terms on some reimbursement for the monies we need to pay out now to bring the Center back into a functional state.

Our insurance does not cover flooding due to rising water; it only covers broken or failed pipes and plumbing. We are looking at several thousand $ expenditure in order to reopen sooner rather than later. We may also be looking at some form of displacement from our space, depending on the need to mitigate the damage to the walls.

We hope to be back up and running by the end of next week.

In the meantime, we are seeking any support you may be able to offer via donations to help us offset these unexpected expenditures from our budget.

In the meantime, please have a safe 4th of July and join us at Social Kitchen + Bar on July 4th for our special PRIDE After 5 holiday event.
