Happy EOM day as we welcome August tomorrow.

The Center is dried out, cleaned, set up, and good to go.

HRA is working on several projects, and we’d like to share some of them with you.

•Saturday Sips are now happening every other Saturday morning. Stop by, enjoy some coffee, conversation, and light snacks.

•Beginning in August, we will be hosting some organized support groups at our Center – stay tuned for the schedule.

•Alejandro Fernandez, our Volunteer Coordinator, has finished his training and is getting his certificate as a Community Health Worker. As we move forward, HRA will begin to expand our services and support for the community. If you want to be part of this process, let us know. info@hrasantafe.org

•We will be finalizing a project we have been working on for the last 6 months – a Safer Place Space commitment and pledge for queer and allied businesses throughout the city and county. We expect to put the commitment out for review in early September, and we will also provide an overview of how things will roll out.

•Please join us for Being Seen/Voicing Our Stories – Art and Activism through a Gender Non-Conforming Lens with Adrien Lawyer and Kerry Kehow on Friday, August 8, 5 – 7 pm at the Center. Space is limited for this free event. Get your ticket here.

Now that we are in full swing with city elections, we will provide information from each of the candidates and their support of the diverse community that is Santa Fe.
