Happy continuation to PRIDE month –
We have made some changes to PRIDE on the Plaza this year as a sign of our continued support of our community and to continue our work with the city in creating a Safe Space for all—please see our PRIDE Conduct Commitment pledge here.
We have so many exciting activities happening over the next ten days that we hope you all will take part in to celebrate PRIDE and the great city and county we live in!
Tonight is PRIDE Movie Night at the History Museum—tickets are still available. Tomorrow is our annual Disco Inferno: Trash Disco party at BoxCar. On Sunday, our PRIDE Week Kick-Off T-dance and Lawn party is at The Mystic from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
PRIDE Drag Bingo is on Thursday evening. If you still need to get your tickets, don’t wait as it is nearly sold out. And finally, the big Day itself is Saturday, June 29th, the PRIDE festival on the Plaza. We start at 10:00 am and go until 5:00 pm. And to be clear, we will not only be on the Plaza itself but will be closing down Lincoln Ave to Federal Plaza and setting up a second stage in front of City Hall with a Beer Garden and some great entertainment and, of course, parked in front of City Hall will be our 3 PRIDE Parade Float competition winners.
This will hands down be the biggest PRIDE celebration the city has ever seen.
At 8:30 pm, join us at The Lodge at Santa Fe for an old-school throwdown dance party with our special guest, DJ/Producer/Grammy winner Tracy Young.
Finally, our Closing T-dance After Burn will be on Sunday, June 30th, at The Mystic. Get ready for some water game fun!
Sending out PRIDE and Light to All!
