Happy Thursday,
Since our last newsletter, we have issued two special statements addressing the cruel, unfortunate, and deeply concerning legislation being introduced and passed in a number of states that directly harm our trans and non-binary community members of all ages. These efforts are devastating, and they require all of us to remain vigilant.
The Human Rights Alliance will continue to do everything in our power to support the queer community here in Santa Fe, throughout Santa Fe County, and across the state of New Mexico.
However, one essential piece of this work cannot be done without you.
Now more than ever, we must stand together to support our community and protect our rights. Complacency is no longer an option. One of the most powerful ways we come together in visibility, resilience, and joy is through Pride.
We are putting the final touches on PRIDE Santa Fe 2026 and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you. Please take a moment to learn more and get involved here: PRIDE 2026 Webpage
We are also thrilled to announce our 2026 Pride Month Sponsors:
- The City of Santa Fe Arts & Culture Department
- Santa Fe County
- Falling Colors
- Chevron
Our sincere thanks to these organizations for their support of Pride and our community. We would also like to recognize the many additional sponsors who help make this celebration possible:
- Southwest Care Center
- Georgia O’Keeffe Museum
- Christus St. Vincent
- Blue Bus
- Thornburg
- Audubon Southwest
- Reflective Jewelry
- Kevin Bobolsky Group
You may have also noticed that we have begun gradually unveiling a refreshed look for both PRIDE Santa Fe and the Human Rights Alliance. This rebrand reflects our continued growth and our deepening commitment to serving communities throughout New Mexico.
There is also more activity ahead at The PRIDE Center. In the coming months, we will be expanding programming, including a significant increase in our therapy and support groups, to better serve our community’s needs.
And one more date to mark on your calendars:
Saturday, May 2 — Join us for the 1-Year Anniversary Bash at The PRIDE Center.
It has been an incredible first year, and we look forward to celebrating this milestone together.
In good health, solidarity, and most of all—QUEER JOY.
