    October’s Community Conversation

How do we honor AIDS veterans and carry their lessons of courage and resistance forward? We all live with HIV in one way or another. Whether you live with the virus, loved and fought for someone in the past, or want to learn how AIDS continues to influence our collective lives, we want to hear from you.

Join Santa Fe director Kent Kirkpatrick and New York-based actor/writer Jonah Mendelsohn for a performance of excerpts from LOVE ALONE: ELEGIES FOR ROG, a new play by Jonah Mendelsohn, adapted from the poetry of Paul Monette. An intergenerational discussion will follow the performance, create opportunities to tell the story of New Mexico’s fight against AIDS and prepare to bring a full production of Love Alone to New Mexico in 2024.

Space is limited – call 505-424-1601 for a free reservation, or reserve online for an optional donation of $10 on the Teatro Parguas website. https://www.teatroparaguasnm.org/love-alone

    Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 3:00 pm & 6:00 pm @Teatro Paraguas

    August’s Community Conversation

🌈 In August’s Community Conversations at Meow Wolf’s Rainbow Rainbow, we delved into some essential topics. We conducted a Narcan training session aimed at potentially saving lives, and had a meaningful conversation with Alma Castro, a candidate for City Council District 2. The discussions were insightful and thought-provoking, setting the tone for constructive engagement and progress. 🗣️🏛️
