“The New Mexico Gay Rodeo Association” (NMGRA) celebrates 31 years of Gay Rodeo in New Mexico. NMGRA will host the 31st Annual Zia Regional Rodeo and Camp Out ; a charitable event, held in Santa Fe, NM at the Rodeo de Santa Fe Rodeo Grounds on August 26-27, 2023. Each year, NMGRA produces the Zia Regional Rodeo, our premier fundraiser, Rodeo profits this year will go to Casa Q and Southwest Care Center. All events will be held at the Rodeo De Santa Fe Grounds (more info at NMGRA.org) Saturday and Sunday the Rodeo starts at 1100 A.M. and goes until the last rider, approximately 4:00 P.M., entertain and dancing starts around 6:00 P.M. A Rodeo School, for beginners will be held on Friday at 11:00 am for ANYONE 18 and older, that would like to learn calf roping on foot, steer decorating, chute dogging, or goat dressing; the events designed as starter events in rodeo competition. Let’s Go Birding Together!

A free bird walk for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community led by an expert bird guide. This is an Audubon tradition for Pride month, now going into our 5th year. Please register by contacting: stella.reed@audubon.org We will meet at 8:30 at the Santa Fe Nature Conservancy/Dale Ball Trailhead parking lot on Cerro Gordo Road and begin birding on the NTC trails then walk up the road to the Randall Davey Audubon Center for the remaining time.
