Santa Fe Playhouse (SFP) presents Or, by Liz Duffy Adams, directed by Zoe Burke. OR,, is set against a background of a long, drawn-out war and a counter-culture of free love, cross-dressing, and pastoral lyricism; the 1660s look a lot like the 1960s in this neo-Restoration comedy about the life of Aphra Behn, poet, spy, and first professional female playwright. Starring Breshaun-Birene Joyner as Aphra Behn, Patrick Janssen as Charles II et al., and Chloe Carson as Nell Gwynne et al. Featuring scenic design by James W. Johnson, lighting design by Kolby Clarke, costume design by Lisa Reneé Jordan, sound design by Jorge Olivo, props design by Emily Rankin. The intimacy director and dialect coach is Adi Cabral. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2024 is coming up and our Santa Fe events are scheduled for April 11th, 13th, and 14th. This is our longest-standing fundraising campaign, and it culminates in a fun-filled bowling celebration. Participation is super easy- teams of 5 bowlers join with a goal of each raising $100 ($500 for their team). Bowlers are encouraged to raise funds by asking their network to contribute to the cause and in gratitude for their support and enthusiasm, we host a celebratory party at a local bowling center to demonstrate our sincere thanks for helping us transform our community. That’s it! Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region is proud to serve hundreds of New Mexico children in one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. With your help, we can empower the young people in our community to succeed and thrive.

Playwright Heidi Schreck’s boundary-breaking play breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans. Fifteen-year-old Heidi earned her college tuition by winning Constitutional debate competitions across the United States. In this hilarious, hopeful, and achingly human new play, she resurrects her teenage self to trace the profound relationship between four generations of women and the founding document that shaped their lives.
